  If this is the first time you run azure powershell. We want to create a certificate file locally. This allows local computers to establish reliable and secure connections with azure.

1. In the azure powershell command line, enter the following command:

Get-AzurePublishSettingsFile

2. At this time, the computer will pop up a new ie window and navigate to Windows azure global (windowsazure.com ). And asked us to enter the username and password for logging on to Azure and log on.

3. After logging in, the system will ask us to save the file with the extension:PublishsettingsTo the disk of the local computer. For example:

4. Return to the azure powershell window and enter the following command:

Import-AzurePublishSettingsFile <PathToFile>

Pathtofile is savedIn step 3, the extension isPublishsettingsFile Location (file path + file name)For example, if I save the file to the root directory of drive D, run the following command:

Import-AzurePublishSettingsFile ‘D:\Windows Azure MSDN - Visual Studio Ultimate-7-2-2013-credentials.publishsettings‘

The above command uploads the local publishsettings file to the Management Certificates of azure. We can open the azure Management Portal. Click Settings and select Management Certificates to view the uploaded publishsettings file. For example:
