2. What is cm
Cloudera Manager (CM) is also the product of Cloudera Corporation. Simply put, Cloudera Manager is a cluster of automated installation, centralized management, cluster monitoring, alarm function of a tool (software), so that the time to install the Hadoop cluster is greatly shortened, the number of operations and maintenance personnel greatly reduced, greatly improve the efficiency of cluster management.
Cloudera Manager has four functions:
(1) Management: the management of the cluster, such as adding, deleting nodes and other operations.
(2) Monitoring: Monitoring the health of the cluster, the set of various indicators and system operation of the overall monitoring.
(3) Diagnose: Diagnose the problem of the cluster, give the suggestion solution to the problems that appear.
