CL: Command Line Error d8036: '/fo ../tmp/tinyxml/debug' not CL: Command Line Error d8036: not allowed with mwith multiple source files

 

The explanation on msdn is determined to be an IDE bug. The solution is described below.

Thanks for your investigation. There are a few bugs in our conversion based on the snippets you pasted in your post:
-
$ (Configurationname) shocould automatically be converted
$ (Configuration) throughout all the property sheets (looks like we only
Do this for the project file). Same for $ (platformname) That shocould be
Converted to $ (Platform)
-$ (Intdir) and $ (outdir) must have a/Appended to them during conversion.

We'll fix these bugs.

As a workaround, add a/at the end of the definition of $ (intdir) and $ (outdir). Let us know if this fixes the build.
