When installing the UBUNTU12.04-64 bit, the following error occurred when the boot file was built with EASYBCD to restart the computer:

One reason is that the installation file has the wrong drive and the other is the filename. Ubuntu12.04 32-bit ISO package after decompression Casper folder The kernel file is Vmlinuz, and 64-bit decompression after the Casper folder kernel file is Vmlinuz.efi. The kernel file in the boot file created with EASYBCD is named Vmlinuz, so there is an error. can be resolved by renaming Vmlinuz.efi to Vmlinuz.

after installing the easybcd2.1.2, start the software:

According to the serial number click "AddNew Entry"--"Neogrub"-"Install" , point to "Install" after the following interface, click "Configure" .

When you click the "Configure" button, a Notepad file appears and the following code is pasted at the end of the file:

The code "Ubuntu-12.04-desktop-amd64.iso" for you to download the ubuntu12.04 system image file name, this file name can be modified, but the name must be modified with the code to write the name of the same, otherwise it will not boot installation;

(hd0,6)    Represents a logical partition after the primary partition,  (hd0,4)   disk,  (hd0,4)   disk,  (hd0,5)   disk,  (hd0,6)    f  disk, my image is placed in the  f  disk, please   (hd0,6) change to its own partition)

5. place the downloaded image file in the root directory of the (HD0,N) disk and ensure that the file name matches the filename of the code written above as Ubuntu-12.04-desktop-amd64.iso , and then use the WinRAR unzip software to ISO opens, extracts the vmlinuz Initrd.lz under the Casper folder directory and copies it to the (hd0,n ) packing directory. The preparation work has now been completed!!!
