ESXI 6.5 Installation

Setting up from IPMI Virtual Disk 3000, the following interface appears:

By default Select the first item, enter install

Setup is detecting server hardware information and will jump out of error if the system installation conditions are not met.

The following interface appears after detection is complete

Enter

Press F11

The server hard disk information is listed here, the default carriage return, the following interface appears

Enter

Keyboard mode, default, enter

Server root account password settings (note: password length more than 7 digits)

Press F11 to start the installation

After the installation is complete, the following interface appears

Install complete, eject image, enter reboot system.

The system is rebooting

Set up hard drive boot

The system starts and the ESXi is set up below

Press F2 to appear below the interface

Enter the root password, return

Switch to configure Management network option, enter

The following interface appears

Select IPv4 Configuration Carriage return

Select the third item with a space, set to static IP

Enter the corresponding IP, subnet mask, gateway information return

Continue to select DNS Configuration carriage return

With empty Gueyang The second item, use the custom DNS, fill in DNS, Hostname modify the name you want

Enter

Press ESC, enter Y to save the configuration information above

Continue to press ESC to return to the main interface

Press F12 to restart the system

Enter the root password return

Press F11

System is restarting

After rebooting, the following interface appears

At this point, the VMware ESXI 6.5 installation is complete,
