Move a mailbox database to move a database
OK, because our newly created mailbox database is saved in the C directory by default, now we think it is not very safe to save in C drive now to transfer the database to the D disk:
Open the management console for Exchenge EMC:
650) this.width=650; "height=" 484 "title=" clip_image025 "style=" border:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px; Padding-left:0px;background-image:none, "alt=" clip_image025 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/6D/27/ Wkiol1vdncmwt6zoaaftqco08og974.jpg "border=" 0 "/>
650) this.width=650; "height=" 338 "title=" clip_image027 "style=" border:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px; Padding-left:0px;background-image:none, "alt=" clip_image027 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/6D/27/ Wkiol1vdncvcgwmwaagh-f52p7q970.jpg "border=" 0 "/>
Select the database we want to move and click the Move database path:
650) this.width=650; "height=" 484 "title=" clip_image028 "style=" border:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px; Padding-left:0px;background-image:none, "alt=" clip_image028 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/6D/27/ Wkiol1vdnc2rkb1eaaftpxhdt0c007.jpg "border=" 0 "/>
You can see that our default database path is in C drive, below we will change C to D:
650) this.width=650; "height=" 484 "title=" clip_image030 "style=" border:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px; Padding-left:0px;background-image:none, "alt=" clip_image030 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/6D/2C/ Wkiom1vdnfxiire2aafxzn5czrs821.jpg "border=" 0 "/>
OK, you can see I have C all become D, below we click to move:
650) this.width=650; "height=" 484 "title=" clip_image032 "style=" border:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px; Padding-left:0px;background-image:none, "alt=" clip_image032 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/6D/27/ Wkiol1vdndhtig87aafprmlbhy8121.jpg "border=" 0 "/>
Here the Exchange Server gives us a pop-up warning that says "Move must first remove database MDB01, this will be all our users will not be able to access the database" Asked if we continue, we click Yes:
650) this.width=650; "height=" 484 "title=" clip_image034 "style=" border:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px; Padding-left:0px;background-image:none, "alt=" clip_image034 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/6D/27/ Wkiol1vdndsqpexcaaf6z3ouf2q914.jpg "border=" 0 "/>
The database moves successfully, we click Finish:
650) this.width=650; "height=" 286 "title=" clip_image036 "style=" border:0px;padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px; Padding-left:0px;background-image:none, "alt=" clip_image036 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/6D/27/ Wkiol1vdndirwq4gaafyzyukc8k683.jpg "border=" 0 "/>
