Mozilla announced that it has started development of Firefox 7.0. Less than two days later, the first Alpha pre-test version of Firefox 7.0 appeared on Mozilla's official FTP, with multiple language versions, including the Simplified Chinese version, supports Linux, Windows, and Mac platforms. Asa Dotzler, Mozilla Community Development Director, pointed out,Firefox 5 is in Beta stage, Firefox 6 is in Aurora stage, and Firefox 7 is already developing the Nightly version.According to the Mozilla release schedule, Firefox 5 will be released on December 5, June 21, Firefox 6 will be released on December 6, August 16, and Firefox 7 will be officially released on December 7, September 27.
Unfortunately, Mozilla hasn't provided more details about Firefox 7.0, and the new features are not yet available. In practice, Firefox testers can check whether there are any new discoveries.
