In order to simplify the installation process and play the advantages of FreeBSD installation software, the following sections of this article will use ports installation. Ports makes it easy to install a variety of software under FreeBSD.
First install ports: (If the/usr/ports directory is already installed)
#/stand/sysinstall
The selected configure-distributions-ports,ports will be installed in the/usr/ports directory.
Install apache1.3.27 + MODSSL below:
# Cd/usr/ports/www/apache13-modssl
# make Install
The installation package is automatically downloaded and installed.
After installation, the system will automatically generate the startup script apache.sh, in the/USR/LOCAL/ETC/RC.D directory. Can be run by running
Apache.sh start|stop to start or stop Apache.
Install mysql3.23:
# Cd/usr/ports/databases/mysql323-server
# make Install
Generate startup scripts after installation/usr/local/etc/rc.d/mysql-server.sh
Install the Apache module MOD_PHP4:
# CD/USR/PORTS/WWW/MOD_PHP4
