CentOS ftp server configuration & connection to cuteftppro under Win7
File Sharing between windows and linux is two ways, one is smb, the other is ftp, and each time smb is started, it is too complicated, so you can directly configure an ftp, it's the same for every boot.
Start configuration,
First, download the installation package:
Yum install vsftpd
Then configure the ftp server.
There are these folders in the vsftpd directory. ftpusers is the folder with the user name, And user_list is the same (the difference is that ftpusers places the user that is allowed to access, and user_list generally denies access, the operation method is controlled in the configuration file), vsftpd. conf is the configuration folder of the entire ftp,
There are two ftp access methods,
1: real-name access: This user is required in linux.
2: Anonymous Access: No user name or password is required. Then you can directly access it.
I configured anonymous users, so I didn't care about real-name access configuration,
Anonymous_enable = YES
Write_enable = YES
Anon_upload_enable = YES
Anon_mkdir_write_enable = YES
In vsftpd. conf, remove the comments of these statements. If not, add them directly.
Then the service vsftpd restart
Enable ftp Server
Open cuteftppro on windows, create an ftp site, and enter the linux IP address as the username,
Then set the local folder in the action.
Connect, you can,
The ftp folder in linux is under/usr/ftp by default,
If Windows cannot upload files to linux, You need to modify the following items:
[Root @ squid ~] # Getenforce
Enforcing
[Root @ squid ~] # Setenforce 0
[Root @ squid ~] # Getenforce
Permissive
Then mkdir/var/ftp/wang
Chmod 777/var/ftp/wang
Cd/etc/vsftpds/
Vim vsftp. conf
Add
Local_root =/var/ftp/wang
So far, the ftp communication from linux to windows has been completed.
