Eclipse's Quick Access toolbar, as standard, takes up a big section of the toolbar, and it's annoying to try and get rid of it.

Workaround:

1, confirm the current Eclipse uses the theme,

Apperances, Prefencees, Windows

Can see. Like "Windows 7 Classic"

2. Open

${eclipse}\plugins\org.eclipse.platform_4.3.2.v20140221-1700\css

directory, locate the file that currently matches the above topic, such as "e4_classic_win7" and add it on the last side

#SearchField {Visibility:hidden; }

Save. Restart Eclipse.

Of course, you can also add the above statement in all the. css files, omitting the first step.
