Hardware acceleration to turn on the video card and sound card

DxDiag is a diagnostic tool for DirectX that allows you to turn on hardware acceleration for a sound card and video card that supports DirectX.

Click start → run, enter Dxdiag, click OK, and open the DirectX Diagnostics tool.

Switch to the Sounds tab, and in the DirectX feature, change the sound and acceleration level of the hardware to full acceleration.

Switch to the Display tab to enable DirectDraw Acceleration, Direct3D acceleration, and AGP Texture acceleration in the DirectX feature.

When the settings are complete, click Exit, return to the desktop, right-click on the desktop space, select Properties, open Display properties, switch to the Settings tab, and click Advanced. Then switch to "troubleshoot" in the Open dialog box, set the hardware acceleration to full in the Hardware Acceleration option group, and click OK.
