Install Ubuntu dual system on UEFI boot WIN8 system

First, a 100G disk was released on the Win8 (removed from windows) to install the Ubuntu system.

Then download the Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS installation image on the official website. At the beginning, the system setup boot is boot:legacy support, boot priority:uefi first. At this point the BIOS settings should be supported for legacy, but UEFI is used first. If this is the time to install Ubuntu, when partitioning:

Click +, there is no EFI partition table (similar name), if there is no experience, then directly divided the boot partition, so that Ubuntu can only use legacy boot. The first installation made such a mistake, resulting in: Directly into Windows, modified boot priority to legacy first, into the Ubuntu grub, you can choose Windows, but not to go, Ubuntu can enter normally. After you've changed back to Uefi first, you're still straight into Windows ....

It was later discovered that boot:legacy support in the BIOS should be replaced with the Uefi, boot priority option, with many more options in the security option, before it was strange why security was not set in security Boot settings, in fact, when this problem let me find the change boot. Online said should be security boot and Windows Quick Start first shut down, just at the beginning I forgot to close the quick start, but because of other reasons Ann wrong, so do not know not to shut down will have and impact, when the installation or close more secure. After the modification, again from the USB boot, installation, again to partition the steps, you will find the partition can choose EFI partition table, divided 200-300m can be, and then the same size as the memory swap partition, the rest of the root partition is directly divided. A total of three partitions are divided and the logical partitions are selected. Next choose device for boot loader installation, this is the key, basically the last point that will go wrong, because this is the wrong choice, I have been tossing for a long time. Here should be the EFI partition, my EFI partition in the/DEV/SDA11, I just started to choose the time, I thought the default/DEV/SDA on the line (thought that as long as a hard disk is this, only when there are two hard drives, it is possible to choose/dev/sdb, It was a very wrong idea, and then it was not a way to find out again. After correcting this, Ubuntu can finally be booted with UEFI.

Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS Image after decompression, directly there is EFI folder, in EFI mode to install this Ubuntu, do not make system disk, directly unzip the image into the U disk can be more convenient.
