Install Ubuntu Nic configuration with VirtualBox in Windows 7

In Windows 7, Ubuntu is installed with VirtualBox, which requires Ubuntu to be connected to the Internet, and SSH, FTP, and NFS services are configured in Ubuntu to be accessible from Win7.

At this time, the Linux virtual machine requires two NICs, one connected using the NAT method (Network Address Translation Network), used to connect to the Internet;

The other part is set to the bridge network (Bridged) used to establish SSH, FTP, and NFS connections. All machines (Linux host Nic IP and Win7 Nic IP) must be in the same network segment, such as 192.168.0.x, subnet Mask 255.255.255.0

Use the default settings for the NIC connected by NAT. The NIC of the bridge network is slightly special.

If the local connection of Win7 has been connected to the network, bridge the network adapter to the local network adapter (Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller in the figure), and then set the IP address of the network adapter of the VM, set it to the same CIDR block as the local connection of Win7.

If the local connection of Win7 is disconnected, the connection is through Wifi or the Internet is not connected, then the bridge Nic cannot be used (it cannot be used together with the wireless Nic ). In this case, only the host adapter can be used ,. Keep the virtual network card added during VirtualBox installation in the enabled status and set it (it can be understood that this virtual network card replaces the local network card ).
