Under Debian, the Apt-get can be installed automatically, but the version is generally older, if you want to use the latest features of Nginx need to upgrade the version. The general installation can be installed by compiling Yi source files, but many Yi tools may need to be installed, and a large stack of intermediate files will be edited. Nginx Official website provides some editing Yi Good installation package, only need to update the installation source, and then through the Apt-get & install can be installed.
First modify the installation source using Vim or nano editing
/etc/apt/sources.list
Add Nginx's official installation Source:
Deb Http://nginx.org/packages/debian/squeeze nginxdeb-src http://nginx.org/packages/debian/squeeze nginx
Then run Apt-get update and reinstall Nginx:
Sudo-s
Apt-get Update
Apt-get Install Nginx
Install upgrade Nginx to the latest version on Debian/ubuntu
