IntelliJ idea Specifies the Java compilation version

Source: Internet
Author: User

When using Maven in IntelliJ idea 15, Idea sets the default compiled version, the source version, to Jdk5. When compiling the project, a warning appears: "Warning:java: Source value 1.5 is obsolete, will be removed in all future releases", and the code above jdk1.5 cannot be compiled.

The reason for this should be a problem with the default configuration of the Maven plugin. The workaround is to add the following code to the "Pom.xml":

<properties> <maven.compiler.source>1.8</maven.compiler.source> <maven.compiler.target>1.8</maven.compiler.target></properties>
