Kali Linux 2.0: Post-installation operations

1. Add the Official Software library

1) Edit/etc/apt/sources.list

Leafpad/etc/apt/sources.list

2) Use # to comment out the original content and add the following:

# Regular Repositoriesdeb http: // Http.kali.org/kali Sana main non-free contribdeb http://security.kali.org/kali-security sana/ Updates main contrib non-free# Source repositoriesdeb-src http://Http.kali.org/kali sana Main Non-free Contribdeb-src http://security.kali.org/kali-security sana/updates main contrib Non-free

3) sequentially execute the following commands:

1 apt-2 apt-get update3 apt-get upgrade4 apt-get Dist-upgrade

2. Add Chinese Input Method

My fcitx is not working properly after installation, so I finally installed the IBUs.

1 Install IBUs 2 Install Ibus-pinyin

After performing the above command installation, add the Chinese (Pinyin) Input method to input Sources in region & Language.

3. Install the Flash plugin

1 Install flashplugin-nonfree2 update-flashplugin-nonfree--install

4. Set character encoding

Execute the following command and select the appropriate character encoding.

Dpkg-reconfigure locales

5. Installing Gdebi

Install Gdebi

6. Installing KMPlayer

Install kmplayerapt Install MPlayer

7. Installing Apt-file

Install apt-file

After the installation is complete, update:

apt-File update

8. Install the Download tool

Install ugetapt Install aria2

When the installation is complete, open uget, enter edit-->setting-->plug-in, and select Enable aria2 plug-in.
