There are 2 of times in Linux:

    1. Hardware time
    2. System time

These 2 times are not synchronous! If one day you find the system time is wrong, you can look at these 2 times. Hardware time written in the BIOS, the system time is the computer display time.

sudo Hwclock-r2014 December 31 Wednesday 08:46 37 seconds -0.214486 seconds

This displays the time of the hardware.

You can write time to the BIOS after you use Ntpdate to synchronize network time:

Synchronize Network time:

sudo Time . windows.com to £ ºntpdate[3935time64.4. 10.3341877.139623 sec

Write to BIOS:

sudo Hwclock-w //write Biso
and look at the time now.
sudo hwclock-r December 31, 2014 Wednesday 20:26 03 Sec. -0.979207 seconds

--end--
