MATLAB connection MySQL under Linux environment

Because MATLAB is based on Java, but the native Matlab is not JDBC, this is a Java MySQL connection.

Only Matlab has this package, in order to properly connect MySQL.

1. Download the corresponding package in http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/j/and extract the jar file.

2. Put the bag under the $matlabroot/java/jar/toolbox

3. Open the Classpath.txt file under $matlabroot/toolbox/local

4. Add $matlabroot/java/jar/toolbox/mysql-connecotr-java-*.*.*-bin.jar at the end (after the file is downloaded, remember to unpack the jar file)

5. Restart Matlab. Execute the following command to get Conn.

' MyBase '  'root' com.mysql.jdbc.Driver  '= ['jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/'  dbname];  = Database (dbname, username, password, driver, dburl);
