MongoDB master-slave replication with verification

Mongodb supports master-slave replication without verification, but only one configuration role is master and oplog, And the other configuration role is slave and master's ip port.

If it comes with verification, it will be troublesome.

Master:

1. Start in single mode;

2. log on to admin and configure the super administrator, db. addUser ('root', 'root ');

3. use local; db. addUser ('repl', 'replicate'); db. auth ('repl', 'replicate ');

The last sentence is unnecessary.

4. Add the -- auth parameter and start it as the Master role.

Slave:

1. Start in single mode;

2. log on to admin and configure the super administrator, db. addUser ('root', 'root ');

3. use local; db. addUser ('repl', 'replicate'); db. auth ('repl', 'replicate ');

The last sentence is unnecessary.

4. Add the -- auth parameter and start it with the Slave role.
