Open source JS framework OpenLayers 2.7 released

The OpenLayers development team was proud to announce the release of OpenLayers October 8 on June 14, 2.7. As the final version, OpenLayers 2.7 covers 201 notable features.

OpenLayers. js is now using the 2.7API.

The main features of the new version include:
• Vector-Behavior: Policy, protocol, and filter
• Improved High-Performance Vector Monetization
• Canvas representations
• Z-axis sorting and Y-axis sorting at the vector Layer

Introduction to OpenLayers
