Photoshop makes a flame

The flames are made up of tiny little flames. Before making, the flame is divided into layers, and then the flames are drawn from the bottom, and the different flame colors and shapes have some changes.

Final effect

1, create a new 800 * 800 pixel document, background fill black. Create a new layer, use a pen to tick the selection shown in the following figure, feather 80 pixels and fill with orange: #F88413作为火焰的底色. If the edge part of the transition is not natural, can be appropriate Gaussian blur processing.

3, a new group, a new layer in the group, with a pen to check the top of the flame contour, into the selection after the feather 6 pixels, and then fill the dark red #cf4809, the bottom with the Dodge tool a little bit brighter, determine the layer opacity to: 50%, the following figure.

4, hold down the CTRL key click on the current layer thumbnail to load the selection, select menu: select > Modify > Shrink, the value is 8, and then press CTRL + J to copy the color swatch of the selection section to the new layer, then change the blending mode to "color Dodge", and the opacity to: 60%, add the layer mask, Use a black brush to paint the bottom slightly, the effect is shown in Figure 5.

5. Create a new layer, use the Pen tool to check out the selection shown in the following figure, feather 60 pixels and fill the dark red: #D1570C.
