Understanding the functionality of each window is the first condition for the correct use of PL/SQL developer, and below is a brief description of the functions of PL/SQL developer Windows, in the hope of understanding:
- program window: You can execute Sql,sqlplus related statements, such as stored procedures, methods, commonly used to develop programs.
Test window: Typically debug that is used to test stored procedures.
-SQL window: executes the DML,DDL statement, the query and display of the primary user statement (one of the most applied windows).
- Report window: A window that can be conveniently used to display aggregated queries, such as SUM (), count (), and so on, with an X, Y axis.
- Command window: In addition to the ability to execute SQL, sqlplus related commands, you can also execute more commands, such as call.
- Explain the plan window: is to explain the implementation plan, tuning, often used.
- Chart window (diagram): not used, do not know how to draw a chart
