I. project background:

The Power Bureau plans to automate the transformation of the distribution network within its jurisdiction and perform remote monitoring on it. The requirements for remote distribution automation terminal equipment must comply with China Mobile Group's industry terminal Monitoring Management System and terminal interface specifications. After analysis and communication with mobile companies, the following solutions are proposed:

Ii. Optimization of Mobile Data Communication solution-WMMP Platform Solution

1. Traditional communication solutions

The traditional solution only provides wireless communication channels, which has the following problems:

Unable to accurately determine communication and provide quality services to customers

The customer cannot know the real-time status of the terminal, and lacks mobile communication-related management measures.

For terminals of different specifications, the customer must conduct a large number of secondary development

Failure points cannot be accurately determined after a terminal fails: device/Network/customer application center

Mobile networks are not transparent to customers and cannot learn terminal-related information: the relationship between the terminal ID and IP address, the network status of the terminal side, and the current configuration information of the terminal.

2. Optimized Solution: WMMP Platform

To address the problems existing in traditional mobile communication solutions, and to improve service quality and ensure reliable transmission of group customers' business data, China Mobile builds a communication management platform and develops relevant management protocols, standardize mobile communication terminals to effectively protect the business of major customers:

Monitors and manages terminals and wireless transmission channels

Implement Remote Management and Maintenance of terminals for major customers

Uniform terminal specifications, simple Secondary Development

After the terminal fails, the terminal reports the fault code, and the mobile company analyzes the code and handles it in a timely manner.

With this solution, the Group Customers can obtain the following function optimizations when conducting mobile data businesses:

● Remote parameter configuration

After the terminal powers on for the first time, it uses the unified APN access platform to obtain user-defined parameters through Server Authentication.

You can remotely modify terminal configurations in real time by managing the Web interface opened by the server.

● Online status monitoring

Displays online terminal information and provides detailed statistical reports.

● Fault alert

The terminal fails to establish a GPRS connection with the user's application platform. You can use the SMS channel to report fault alarms.

● Remote Terminal Activation

By managing the Web interface opened by the server, you can activate a specified or a certain type of non-Online terminal to establish a connection with the enterprise application system.

● Remote maintenance service support

Support Platform Fault Detection terminals and inform terminal manufacturers of relevant information

Terminal vendors establish remote maintenance channels through specialized APN

● Software Upgrade

Automatic delivery and upgrade of upgrade software through air channels (GPRS and SMS)

● Enterprise Application Support

Enterprise applications can use the message interface to obtain the IP address corresponding to the mobile phone number.

For some terminals, the platform can obtain the information of the terminal's community to provide its location information.

Iii. Network Structure and details of the distribution network automation solution

Using the data mobility solution optimized by mobile companies, we have developed a technical solution for mobile distribution automation. The following figure shows the network structure of the solution:

  

Solution details:

1. the distribution network automation terminal is composed of the distribution network device and the mobile data terminal InDTU132G. InDTU132G is connected to the distribution network device through RS485/232 interfaces, transmit the corresponding monitoring data to the mobile terminal monitoring management system through the GPRS network.

2. The application center system is connected to the industry terminal monitoring and management system through a leased line or tunnel. The industry terminal monitoring management system is responsible for receiving business data and network management data uploaded by distribution network devices. Business data can also be directly uploaded to the application center system after being received through the mobile data terminal InDTU132G.

Mobile data terminals comply with China Mobile Communications Corporation's industry terminal Monitoring Management System and terminal interface specifications.

Iv. Introduction to wireless data terminals

The wireless data serial port terminal InDTU 132G is used for industrial remote data collection and transmission. Based on China Mobile's GPRS network, it provides industrial users with wireless data transmission channels over TCP/IP, function to complete the wireless data communication between the remote control station serial device and the central control system, so that remote industrial field control can be achieved.

In terms of design and production, the InDTU 132 series products fully consider the needs of industrial applications. Their performance and technical indicators comply with industrial product standards. The product uses a high-performance, highly integrated 8-bit processor in hardware design, built-in SDRAM and FLASH to achieve powerful processing performance. The communication module adopts a highly reliable GPRS module. The software adopts a sound and robust ppp, TCP/IP, and application layer protocol stack, and optimizes the network performance, especially the performance of narrowband links, to make it play an outstanding role in the GPRS network.
