The Remove () function is used to remove the first occurrence of a value in a list.

Grammar

Remove () method syntax:

List.remove (obj)

  

Parameters
  • Obj--the object to be removed from the list.
return value

The method does not return a value but removes the first occurrence of one of two values.

Instance

The following example shows how to use the Remove () function:

#!/usr/bin/pythonalist = [123, ' xyz ', ' Zara ', ' abc ', ' XYZ '];alist.remove (' xyz ');p rint "List:", Alist;alist.remove (' ABC ');p rint "List:", alist;

  

The result of the above example output is as follows:
