Recycle Bin deleted how to recover

　　method One: Click the desktop right-------properties------Desktop------Customize the desktop, the above column of the Recycle Bin tick, OK.

　　method Two: edit the registry so that the Recycle Bin icon appears on the desktop again:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.

2. In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.

3. Locate the following registry key:

Hkey_local_machinesoftwaremicrosoftwindowscurrentversionexplorerdesktopnamespace

4. Right-click the registry key that you found in step 3rd, point to New, and then click Items.

5. Type {645ff040-5081-101b-9f08-00aa002f954e}, and then press ENTER.

6. Click the new "{645ff040-5081-101b-9f08-00aa002f954e}" item that you created in step 5th.

7. Right-click the (Default) item in the right pane.

8. In the Edit String dialog box, type "Recycle Bin" in the Value data box, and then click OK.

9. Quit Registry Editor.

The Recycle Bin icon appears again on the Windows desktop.

　　method Three: use Group Policy Object Editor to recover the Recycle Bin

If your system administrator uses Group Policy to hide the Recycle Bin or "all icons" on the desktop, you may have to contact your system administrator to recover the Recycle Bin icon.

Note the following procedures apply only to Windows XP Professional.

The system administrator can either use the Group Policy Object Editor (gpedit.msc) or manually delete registry information (created through the Group Policy Object Editor) to restore the Recycle Bin icon to the desktop. To use the Group Policy Object Editor to recover the Recycle Bin:

1. Click Start, click Run, type gpedit.msc in the Open box, and then click OK.

2. Under User Configuration, click Administrative Templates, and then double-click Desktop.

3. Double-click Delete Recycle Bin from desktop.

4. Click the Settings tab, click Not Configured, and then click OK.

　　method Four: use Registry Editor to recover the Recycle Bin:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.

2. In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.

3. Locate the following registry key:

Hkey_current_usersoftwaremicrosoftwindowscurrentversionpoliciesnonenum

4. Click the registry key that you found in step 3rd, and then in the right pane, click the following registry DWORD value:

{645ff040-5081-101b-9f08-00aa002f954e}

5. On the Edit menu, click Delete, and then click Yes.

6. Quit Registry Editor.

Reboot, and the Recycle Bin icon appears again on the desktop.

Click "Start → run", in the pop-up "Run" dialog box, enter "regsvr32/n/i:u shell32" (without double quotes), and then enter, a moment later pop-up "Shell32 DllInstall Success" dialog box, "Show desktop" button can be restored

　　method Five: click start → run → enter "regedit" → Return to open Registry Editor, and then expand Hkey_local_ Machinesoftwaremicrosoftwindowscurrentversionexplorer Desktopnamespace, right-click the "Namespace" Item or the folder icon in front of it, and in the pop-up shortcut menu, select Create a new (N) → item (K), and then rename the new item to "{645ff040-5081-101b-9f08-00aa002f954e}", click the item, have a REG_SZ item on the right side of the window with a "Default value", right-click to select Modify, and modify its value to " Recycle Bin, OK, and then close Registry Editor. Then right click on the desktop and choose Refresh.

For Windows 98, simply change the recycle Bin to the Recycle Bin.

　　method Six: Click "Start → run", enter "Gpedit.msc" after the return, open "Group Policy." then expand "User Configuration → admin templates → desktop" in turn. Double-click the Delete Recycle Bin icon from desktop → eject from desktop to remove the Recycle Bin icon Properties window → Select configuration page → select Disabled (D) [here choose not Configured (C) nor can]→ "application (A)" → OK and then exit the Group Policy window. Restart the computer if it is not yet displayed.
