Redmine 3.0.3 Ubuntu Virtual machine version of mail configuration

Installation and configuration, most of the content refer to this link: https://wiki.bitnami.com/Virtual_Appliances_Quick_Start_Guide, can be done.

But there is no mention of the setting of the external mail. Checked, and later found here there is a description: https://wiki.bitnami.com/Applications/BitNami_Redmine#How_to_configure_the_email_settings_of_Redmine.3f

In the new version, the external mail configuration file has been put here: install directory /apps/redmine/htdocs/config/configuration.yml, and no longer: installation directory / Apps/redmine/htdocs/config/email.yml. In the virtual machine version, the installation directory is placed under:/opt/bitnami.

After the configuration is added in accordance with the documentation, it is not possible to find it. An error message appears: Redmine email config Connection refused-connect (2). Later looked at redmine inside the personnel answer only then know, need to the configuration file in addition to the first "email_delivery" configuration comments out, or deleted. Then perform the following command restart:

/opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh Restart Apache

The way to test whether a message is in effect is to log in as an administrator, and at the bottom of this page, under management--configuration--Email notifications, there is a "Send test message". Click it to test whether the message was configured successfully.
