Repeater and DropDownList in UpdatePanel.

In UpdatePanel the use of DropDownList AutoPostBack, under normal circumstances can be partially refreshed.

However, if Repeater,repeater is bound DropDownList under UpdatePanel, if the autopostback=true of DropDownList is set, then the entire page post will be generated.

Solution:

1. Remove the DropDownList autopostback=true;

2. Add a onchange event to DropDownList, and the OnSelectedIndexChanged event remains.
