RHEL 5 network problems: eth0... Does not seem to be present, delaying Initialization

First, a static IP address is set, and then the eth0 "does not seem to be present, delaying initialization" is always prompted during service network restart. Then, of course, no valid IP address is available.

In the GUI, the system> Administration> network tool (RHEL) is used for configuration. The network card is inactive and disconnected as soon as it is entered. What is the problem ?! Click "active", activate the NIC, restart the system, and return to the faulty status! So I went to the GUI tool to check whether it was inactive. It seems that how to set it, after the restart, it will return to the inactive state, so in the GUI, delete this Nic, and then add it.

Restart and fix the problem.
