Roles for BI users

Divide the roles of BI users in the enterprise into the following categories:

System administrator: No data permissions, no functional permissions, responsible for configuring other people's rights;
Bi Expert: Have all data permission, have Multidimensional Analysis, Report view, report development, Model Development Authority, responsible for developing and maintaining BI system;
Business Analyst: Have all data rights, multi-dimensional analysis, report review, Report development rights, responsible for the company and operational aspects of data analysis, to the company's senior level to provide data reporting;
Each department expert: has the department data permission, has the multidimensional Analysis, the report view, the report Development Authority, is responsible for the department's data analysis, and the simple report development;
Each department manager: have the authority of the Department data, Report view permission; View Data report;
General users of each department: The data access rights assigned by the experts in this Part; Report view permission; View Data report;

Note: The above classifications are based on COGNOS8 solutions, and ideas can be extended to other BI solutions.
