SharePoint file disk storage Component User Guide

The SharePoint file disk storage component allows users to upload files to SharePoint and store them in the specified disk directory. For basic principles, refer to my previous blog.

1. Install solution package

Use stsadm.exe to install the solution package on the Sharepoint Server:
Stsadm-O addsolution-filename diskfilestorage. WSP

2. Deployment Solution

3. Activate the "file disk storage" function in the server farm

After activation, run the following commands in the server command prompt:
Iisreset
Net stop sptimerv3
Net start sptimerv3

4. Configure Web ApplicationsProgramTo enable this feature

In "Management Center-operation-Data configuration", click "User File disk storage ":

Configure the disk storage and storage location of each web application in the following interface:

Done.
