SharePoint 2013 crawls binary Large Objects (BLOBs)

This article is a reference to the MSDN documentation example, SharePoint 2013 Search binary objects (BLOBs), external content types to associate external data with SharePoint, modify the BCD model so that SharePoint can crawl the flow of files in external data.

Step, you first use SPD to create external content types, add various actions for external content types, then export the BCD model, add methods and re-import, and finally configure crawls to crawl external content types.

1, first, with designer 2013 Open the site, click on the upper left corner button to create external content types;

2, enter the name of the external content type, click "Click here to find external data and define the operation";

3, in the external content type of the Operation designer, click Add Connection;
