Shorthand properties in CSS

Source: Internet
Author: User

1.font

This shorthand property allows you to set multiple properties of a font in a declaration.

The following properties can be set sequentially:

    • Font-style
    • Font-variant
    • Font-weight
    • Font-size
    • Line-height
    • Font-family

For example:

{    font: italic bold 16px 1 Sans-serif;}

Font size and line height can also be written together. The middle is separated by a slash.

The above attributes can also be written as:

{    font: italic bold 16px/1 Sans-serif;}

Tip: You can not set all properties, but at least include both the Font-size and Font-family properties. There are also no errors in the set order, otherwise the declaration is invalid.
