Spring in spring (Spring 1.2 RC1 was released)
Spring 1.2 has recently been released. Major improvements include the following:
- Changed the release of a single spring. jar and supported the release of multiple jar packages. Finer-grained distribution jar files, alongside the full spring. Jar
- The interfaces of the AOP alliance are now included in the spring-AOP. And spring. Jar packages;
- Added improvements to the definition of XML beans; ("Ref" and "value" shortcut attributes etc)
- Enhanced the AOP targetsourcecreator mechanism; (supportinglazyinittargetsource too)
- Added the use of transactions with declarations; annotation is a new feature of JDK 1.5;
- Enhanced weblogicjtatransactionmanager (transaction names, isolation levels)
- Supports JDBC sqlrowset (this feature is very cool );
- Support for hibernate3; (update timely)
- JMX is supported. Spring beans can be exported as manageable resources and can be accessed using mbeans.
- Common attributes commons attributes and JDK 1.5 + annotations for JMX mbean Export
This released version is a stable version and is recommended for development.
