SQL Server 2005 How to set a user name and password for a database

1. Open the SQL Server Manager manager and find ' security ' right-click on the left to select ' new '-' login ', as

2, Pop-up dialog box, enter your login number in the login name, select ' SQL Server Authentication ', and enter the password, you can ' user must change password at next logon ' to cancel out.

3, click on ' User Mapping ', select the database to be mapped on the right, and tick in front, tick in front of ' db-owner ' and ' public ' in the following column. Such as:

4, click ' Status ', in the right column to select "Grant", "Enable", these two are generally the default, but if the default is not the two must be changed, or not even! Click ' OK '.

6. Pop up a dialog box, click "Security", select "SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode" under "Server Authentication", tick the front! Remember this step is important, if you do not have this step you will not be able to login success! Then click "OK" to do it!

8, restart the service (or restart the computer) can choose SQL SERVER authentication Mode login! Enter the user name and password just to log in successfully!

9, attached: The SQL Server Configuration Manager needs to open the SQL Serverbrowser, others can be accessed through the network.
