SQL Server queries the number of connection requests on the current server

SQL Server itself provides such a DMV to return this information, which is sys. dm_exec_sessions.
For example, make a query on my machine:

SELECT * FROM sys. dm_exec_sessions WHERE host_name IS NOT NULL


We can also group data by login name:

SELECT login_name, COUNT (session_id) AS session_count
FROM sys. dm_exec_sessions
