In linux, if you want to turn off the monitor, you can execute the following command. If you are used to using the display button to turn off, please ignore the following statement!

Xset dpms force off when you execute this statement on the terminal, the display immediately shuts down (at least mine). Maybe you think this command is too long, please use your own script, such:
Nano dispalyoff
#! /Bin/bash
Xset dpms force off
Ctrl + X exit editing and y save.
Add executable attributes: chmod + x displayoff
Add this script to a place you can find in bash (or use an absolute path every time)
Simply execute displayoff to turn off the monitor (notebook screen ).
