Ubuntu installation Sogou Input Method (Ubuntu 14.04, ubuntu16.04 Universal)

This method is Ubuntu 14.04, ubuntu16.04 Universal.

1. Download Sogou Input Method installation package Deb

2. Install Sogou Input method and dependent software

sudo dpkg-i sogoupinyin_2.1.0.0086_amd64.deb

If an error occurs, installing Deb fails, install the dependent package by executing the following command:

sudo apt-get-f Install

Try the installation again:
sudo dpkg-i sogoupinyin_2.1.0.0086_amd64.deb

3. Configure language support, set keyboard Input Method system to FCITX.

logout of Ubuntu and log back in (usually without restarting the computer).

4. Configure FCITX, add Sogou Input method.

Open FCITX Configuration, add Sogou Input Method:

Click "+", then uncheck "Only show current language", search "Sogou", click "OK", close.

CTRL + SPACE, Ctrl+shift can switch input method, enjoy!
