It is said that the 64-bit operating system will encounter a variety of inexplicable problems, my own measurement Win10 64bit did not find the device problem, finally installed in the VM XP 32bit to solve. This is the point, encounter strange problems, first look at their operating system is not 32-bit, I wasted 2 hours of my own time (╯‵-′) ╯︵┻━┻ J-link firmware

J-link shell body without a screw, the use of internal concealed buckle closure, find a piece of warping on the open, or directly with a word screwdriver pry 20PIN interface position. The internal structure of the J-link can be seen after the disassembly.

Where the red box of the four pin is behind me welding up, the top two is Earse, the next two is TST. The market on the different J-link PCB traces may be slightly different, you can take a closer look at the PCB screen printing, if it is not found, you can search the master chip pin definition diagram to find Earse and TST. wipe Flash with a USB cable to connect the PC, if there are j-link firmware, the board LED will be lit. Use jumper caps to shorten the Earse two pin, and if you do not have a soldering pin, you can use tweezers or wire to short connect.

After the LED is off, unplug the jumper cap and disconnect the USB cable.

If the J-link firmware is damaged, the LED may not light up from start to finish, and the third step can wait about 10 seconds, then unplug the jumper cap. The overall steps are: power- on –> short-connect earse–> recovery earse–> . recovery boot jumper caps short-connect TST two pins, note that the jumper cap of the earse is removed at this time. Connect the PC with a USB cable, at which point the computer will be prompted not to find the driver, ignore it, wait about 10 seconds.

Disconnect the USB connection, and then remove the TST jumper cap.

The overall step is: short connect tst–> power –> power off –> restore TST installation drive

The following operation I was under the VM under the XP, because the use of virtual machines, so pay attention to the hardware connection, whether to access the virtual machine. Connect to the PC with a USB cable and manually install the driver.

Manually navigate to the DRV folder under Sam-ba xx under the At91-isp installation directory.

If the DRV directory is not found, you can download the driver in the following network address.

The installation is complete, and you can see that the hardware was successfully identified in Device Manager.

Write new firmware

Open the Sam-prog, select the firmware you want to write, and tick "Set Security" below.
Using a USB cable to connect to the PC, the Write Flash button becomes available, and clicking the button starts writing the firmware.

Write to the firmware, in 1, and animate.

In zero, the animation disappears, indicating that the write is complete.

write a new serial number

I choose the v8+ custom serial number here, so you need to set the serial number, if you choose a fixed serial number of the firmware, you can skip this step. In addition, no 32-bit system is needed, so I turned back to Win10 64bit.

Open Jlink to get hardware information
Because it is a custom serial number, you can see that the SN shows-1.

Write a new serial number
where xxx is a custom serial number, the serial number is 8 digits. This instruction can only be executed once, and if you need to modify it, be careful to re-write the firmware.

Exec setsn=xxxxxxxxx

In addition to open jlink and subsequent operations, you may be prompted to upgrade the firmware, it seems that the upgrade can also be used ...
Test

Reconnect the USB, open the Keil, you can see the serial number has been written, test the writing and debugging functions, are normal.
