Life and nature are a great transition effect. The sun slowly rises and signs day begins and slowly falls. The day is over and the night is coming. We are born in the womb and originate from tiny cells, slowly growing and aging until death.

Sometimes, when something jumps from one state to another, it may feel OK but not right.

Deliberately designed slow transitions feel bad. When designing an application, interface, or any type of structured content, we have to make sure that users know where they come from when they reach a new page or a new state. Transitions from one screen or group of content to another should naturally and should be tested on devices under various configurations to get a broader sense of impact assessment. Transitions are too fast to be broken or jumping, too slow and hopeless.

When it comes to design, the word "transition" usually wakes up people's impressions of PowerPoint or homemade movies made with cheap video-editing software. But the so-called transition transitions are not just so.

Transitions allow us to jump between different states, several times a day. Most of the time, these transitions are completely invisible (they should be) until they are taken away before we realize they are there. This article discusses the transition effect and the perfectly designed transition effect to enhance the user experience by conveying a sense of control and convenient navigation. It also discusses why bad transition effects can damage the user experience.

What is transition transitions?

In definition, a transition means "a change between a form or a type, or a process of such a change." "It has been mentioned before that we have been unconsciously doing transition changes, and these changes have expanded the computer interface." A good transition effect of a design is like telling the user which path they use to get from point A to point B quickly.

As we all know, transitions are common in interface design, but they are also used in film and product design. In product design, transitions are triggered by touching, moving, or physical movement of the product, whereas in the interface design transitions are triggered by a jump between the application interface or the content. The transition effect should be to provide users with information about where they are located between the interfaces.

In the opening footage of the 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, gold ticket winners gathered outside the mysterious factory gate to see the elusive Willy Wonka.

As the lens unfolds, the viewer's gaze is coming from behind the crowd, through the door, toward the factory, and from the crowd behind the factory door at the angle of the other camera; our sight is at Wonka's side watching him limping down the red carpet, and looking at him from behind. Although there is no visible transition between the two in camera terms, viewers can still understand exactly where the line of sight is.

The audience is sitting on their comfy couch watching the movie. Yet they still have a feeling of being on the scene. This is an emotional transition effect.
