1. Download http://support.microsoft.com/kb/241396 inside a file called FileTool.exe and decompression, decompression is a VC project, with vc6.0 Open project, compile, get FileTool.dll, copy it to vc6.0 installation directory.

2. Point VC menu bar inside Tools (tool)->customizes (custom)->add-ins and Macro files (add-ons and macros file)

Click Browse, select Type *.dll,

Find just that FileTool.dll file, click OK, the VC interface has more toolbars:
