First, prepare the installation file: Centos-7-x86_64-dvd-1804.iso
Login to CentOS official address https://www.centos.org/download/
Select DVD ISO,
Select a link to download.
Second, create a virtual machine
Open VMware Workstation,
Click Create a new virtual machine,
Select the default configuration, click Next,
Select the location of the image file, click Next,
Set the name and installation location of the virtual machine, click Next,
Set the virtual machine disk size, using the default configuration. Click Next
Select Open virtual machine after creation and click Done.
Three, installation configuration CentOS7
After the virtual machine is turned on, press ENTER to start the installation CentOS7
Select installation Language Simplified Chinese, click Continue
The interface displays a summary of the installation information, which you can choose to configure according to your needs. The part with the XXX triangle hint is the content that must be configured, otherwise the installation cannot continue.
The software defaults to minimal installation, where we choose to install the GNOME desktop
Click the Finish button to end the software selection. Click Install location options, select Auto Partition
Click on the network and hostname, configure the host name to WWW, click the Apply button.
Click the Configure button to configure IP address gateway DNS
The subnet mask and gateway are viewed in the virtual machine's virtual network editor.
Click IPv4 settings to select the manual method. Add an IP address, gateway, subnet mask, and DNS configured to be the same as the gateway.
Click Save
Click Open Network connection to complete the network configuration.
Click to start the installation
Click the root password
Set the password, if the password is too simple, you need to click the Finish button two times to confirm the completion.
Then wait for the installation to be ready.
Installation Complete, click the Restart button
