Preparation conditions

1. Yum Install Perl

2. Yum Install GCC

then mount the installation.

New CDROM Mount Directory
Mkdir/mnt/cdrom
Mount Optical Drive
Mount-t auto/dev/cdrom/mnt/cdrom This command is to mount the CentOS cdrom in the/mnt/cdrom directory, you can access the contents of it;
Use the files in the optical drive to install

[root]# Cd/mnt/cdrom
[root]# ls-a] Query the tools version number, used in the next step, red font standard "
[root]# CP vmwaretools-8.6.1-19175.tar.gz /tmp
[root]# cd/tmp
[root]# tar zxpf vmwaretools-8.6.1-19175.tar.gz
[root]# CD Vmware-tools-distrib
[Root vmware-tools-distrib]#./vmware-install.pl

# The installation process of the screen, all use the default value, always press Enter is right. It will take about five minutes, until the following statement appears

To use the Vmxnet driver, restart networking using the following commands:
/etc/init.d/network stop
Rmmod Pcnet32
Rmmod vmxnet
Depmod-a
Modprobe vmxnet
/etc/init.d/network start

Also yum-y install fuse-libs a bit, then reboot restart.

Attention:

There may be a minor problem in the middle. But none of the heroes tools are used.

Mounting HGFS shares:failed.
