VMware Kali 2.0 installation of VMware Tools

1. Install the kernel before you install VMware Tools

1 Install linux-headers-$ (uname -R)

2. Load Vmware-tools image

3. Open the directory where the disc is located and copy the Vmware-tools installation file (vmware-tools.***.tar.gz this file) to the home directory.

4. Unzip (TAR) the installation file and install Vmware-tools.

tar zxvf vmwaretools-9.9. 0-2304977. tar. gz

CD vmware-tools-distrib/

./vmware-install. pl

The installation process of the screen, all use the default value, always press Enter to be able. If there is no option to set the resolution during installation, it may be that the graphics driver is not installed and the driver can be re-installed.
