Steps:
1. Log On As the domain administrator. Win2003server configuration.
1. log on to the console and connect to start à Administrative Tools à Routing and Remote Access --> server (computer name) right-click an electric shock-> click "configure and enable Routing and Remote Access" à next à at "configuration" Page choose "remote access server (dia-up and VPN) "à VPN à choose network interface connects this server. --> next à
(A. Choose "from a specified range of addresses" next à at "address range assignment" click "New" à input "Start IP address" and "end IP address" à next à
B. Choose "automatically" (if you have the DHCP server or not please choose from a specified range of addresses)-Next à)
Choose "No, use Routing and Remote Access to authenticate connection requests" à finish (ask you to configure the DHCP relay agent if you choose automatically)
Relay DHCP agent configuration.
At "Routing and Remote Access" Page à spread "server" à choose "IP routing" à right click "DHCP relay agent" à choose "New Interface for DHCP relay agent" to add Nic -> OK
2. Authorize the Administrator (remote login required) to access the account. Start à run à DSA. MSC (Open AD) à choose "user" à double click "administrator" à at "dial-in" choose "allow access" à OK
Configure the outbound VPN.
Client XP. click "Network Neighbor"-> Create a new connection-> In The Connection Wizard, click "Next"-> select the network to connect to my workplace-> virtual private network connection-> enter the company name. --> Enter the VPN Server name or IP address. Then, enter the account and password in the domain to log on.
After the connection is established, enter ipconfig/all to view IP details.
