Windows 7 system AHCI on reboot with blue screen fail to start or crash solution

Failure phenomenon:

After installing the Windows 7 system, such as using IDE mode, all normal, the BIOS in the AHCI mode after the panic, blue screen, unable to start and other failures.

Reason Analysis:

If the probability of a normal hardware failure in IDE mode is minimal, this problem is generally due to an exception caused by Windows 7 random AHCI driver matching.

Solution:

1. In the title bar on the left of the Registry Editor window, navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\SERVICES\MSAHCI branch, and then in the right window, double-click Start. In the Edit DWORD Value dialog box that opens, change the value in the Values data box from 3 to the number 0;

Tip: There is a risk of modifying the registry, please proceed with caution.

2. Reboot into the system desktop, point the computer right---attributes-----Device Manager;

3. Uninstall all devices in the IDE ATA/ATAPI controller;

When the reboot option appears, click No;

4. If there are no deleted options can be ignored;

5. Reboot and modify in the BIOS to AHCI mode and enter the system normally;

6. The Windows 7 system automatically loads the AHCI driver and everything is OK.

Note:

Typically this problem is caused by the installation of Windows 7 system in IDE mode, which uses the host bit m7100z H61 motherboard chipset, and the system is a Professional edition of Windows 7 (OEM).
