Tool Prerequisites: (1) VMware Workstation, (2) Windows Server R2.iso (3) Windows Xp.iso
Background: (1) Understanding the VMware Workstation Network settings, (2) Understanding the meaning of NTFS permissions
Experimental steps:
(1): Install the WIN2008R2 and WinXP systems separately in VMware. --(snapshot Backup)
(2)--Additional instructions: WIN2008R2 the ICMP service is enabled, some systems, such as Win7, are shutting down ICMP requests by default, where XP does not have to be set. If other systems are not pinging, consider either shutting down the firewall in both directions or opening the ICMP request in both directions. --
(3): Turn win2008r2 into a domain controller, command: dcpromo
