Download the Tomcat installation file, the official download address is: http://tomcat.apache.org/, this article takes the tomcat-7.0.26 version as an example to carry on the instruction of the installation process:

1, double-click Apache-tomcat-7.0.26.exe to start the installation of Tomcat, see Figure 1.

2, click Next, enter the second step, agree to its installation agreement terms, see Figure 2, click I agree continue to install.

3, choose the installation option, the default is normal, you can see Figure 3, point open Tomcat, select Service, will be able to start and close Tomcat in managed services

4, click Next to start the next installation path selection, set into a D:\TOMCAT7, click Browse. Select a new installation path, click Next to continue, see Figure 4.

5, there will be a management prompt box, require input port and management password, keep the default settings on the line.

6, click Next will appear in the following figure, it will automatically find the JRE location, if the user does not have the JRE installed, you can modify points to the JDK directory (many users cannot compile the JSP after installation, that is, the JRE is not found here, be sure to install the JDK first and point the directory to the JRE or JDK directory correctly).

7, click Install to start installation.

9, in the Computer Management-services can see Tomcat service, click the Start button can start Tomcat. Server icon appears on taskbar after Tomcat is turned on, Green is running, red is stopped
