Why is there a color inconsistency

In the process of digital image from input device to monitor, then to output device or final image file, it is very difficult to keep original color. Because each related hardware or software has its own color processing technology, but also represents the different color reduction characteristics, so the scanned photos, images in the display, color proofing or printed manuscripts will show a different color.

The root cause of this situation is that, due to technical limitations, each display or processing device can not faithfully reproduce the color of the manuscript, and different devices use different technical principles to produce color. Another point is that the printing industry usually uses CMYK mode, while on the computer display is RGB mode, the number of colors indicates different color, but also caused the color display error.

How to remedy the normal method

In general, in order to compensate for the impact of the device itself on the image color and image files in the transmission process between the deviation and loss, we can be compensated by two methods: the image processing staff repeatedly manually adjust the color, or the use of color management system to control the entire process. But for the general user, if the repeated adjustment of color is no doubt too troublesome, and image processing equipment, the technical problems caused by the deviation is not within the scope of our ability to solve, so we can do is to correct the display and output devices due to different color display mode caused by the chromatic aberration.

Correcting chromatic aberration with display driver

First right-click on the desktop to select Properties, then go to the Settings page, select Advanced, click Monitor Pagination, select Properties to update the display driver. I use the monitor for LG 775FT 17 inch flat CRT display, download the latest driver package from the Internet, and find the 775FT drive installation. If you continue to use the Plug and Play display driver will still have a certain effect on the performance of the color, so we choose to install the display dedicated driver. While the driver is installed, color management has been updated to the LG 775FT Management configuration file.

Then select "LG 775FT profile" in the RGB (R) option in the color settings, set CMYK (C) wash to "Keep embedded profile", and gray (Y) to "Keep embedded profile". Then restart the Photoshop software to complete the setup so that you can maximize the amount of pictures that are processed using Photoshop and the color of the last printed picture, and you can get the WYSIWYG image.

Perhaps some readers of the display because of the purchase earlier or because they do not know the model, can not find the display of the driver and color management software, but also the monitor color temperature set to 9300K. Specify the ICC as the same as the monitor model (General monitor installation CD) such as Trinitron compatible 9300K G2.2.ICM, Diamond compatible 9300K G2.2.ICM or with ICC The monitor Profile builder software produces its own display ICC feature file. Finally, when the Photoshop software is set, the RGB of the workspace is set to the same filename as the system ICC.
