Xenapp/xendesktop 7.6 First experience seven policies (upper)

So far, the basic structure of Xen 7.6 I have tried to build, now look at a heavy difficulty policies. There are hundreds of policy configurations in Xen7, and different configuration user experiences can be completely different.

Citrix's policy is executed in the following order:

1.Local GPO

2.xendesktop/xenapp Site GPO

3.site-level GPO

4.domain-level GPO

5.ou-level GPO

If there is a conflict, the GPO that is executed later can overwrite the contents of the previous GPO

There are 2 places in the Xen7 that can be configured with a policies. The first place is to open gpedit.msc on delivery controller's server, local Group Policy can configure Citrix

The second place is the integration of this feature in studio, but note that the difference is that the GPO will differentiate between computer and user, while studio is configured together.

This policy is even configured. Click on the higher priority on the right to adjust the precedence level.

If you do not want to manually configure, Citrix automatically preconfigured some templates to allow us to configure, select the preferred template can generate the corresponding policy, such as in different scenarios of the optimization configuration and so on. Users can also import and export third-party templates and modify them as appropriate.

Another feature is comparison, which can be compared to the two policy settings, as shown below. The hohoho you just created contrasts with the default policy, with a warning feature.

The last tap is modelling, which can be used to simulate the effect of policy, especially when multiple policy is working, and some policy may conflict with each other. Traditional GPOs can be viewed with RSoP, Citrix can be viewed with RSoP or through this modelling, and a report is generated for users to view.
