Zabbix Agent source code compilation and Installation
Introduction:
Sort out Zabbix Agent separately.
1. Installation Package Selection
: Http://www.zabbix.com/download.php
There are two source code packages. One is to install the Zabbix Server package. You can specify the -- enable-agent parameter to install the Agent.
One is to install the Zabbix Agent package, unzip the configuration, and provide the template Key to monitor MySQL performance by default.
2. Installation (I chose the first method)
shell > useradd -r -s /sbin/nologin zabbix shell > wget http://jaist.dl.sourceforge.net/project/zabbix/ZABBIX%20Latest%20Stable/2.4.6/zabbix-2.4.6.tar.gzshell > tar zxf zabbix-2.4.6.tar.gzshell > cd zabbix-2.4.6shell > ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/zabbix_agent --enable-agent ; make install
3. Configuration
Shell> cp/usr/local/src/zabbix-2.4.6/misc/init. d/Fedora/core/zabbix_agentd/etc/init. d/# copy the startup script shell> sed-I's # BASEDIR =/usr/local/zabbix_agent # '/etc/init. d/zabbix_agentd # modify the Agent installation path shell> grep-vP '^ # | ^ $'/usr/local/zabbix_agent/etc/zabbix_agentd.conf # adjust the configuration file LogFile =/tmp/zabbix_agentd.logServer = 121.42.111.220 # Zabbix Server IP (passive mode, client passive) ServerActive = 127.0.0.1 # active mode. If you use Zabbix Server IP, you can comment out the Hostname = 101.201.142.247 # IP address if you do not use it. You need to use Zabbix Server when adding hosts, not necessarily IP Include =/usr/local/zabbix_agent/etc/zabbix_agentd.conf.d /*. conf # load the custom monitoring configuration file UnsafeUserParameters = 1 # Allow custom keys
4. Start
Shell> service zabbix_agentd startshell> chkconfig -- add partition> chkconfig -- level 35 zabbix_agentd onshell> iptables-a input-s 'zabbix Server ip'-p tcp -- dport 10050-j ACCEPT # Because is the passive mode of the client, therefore, open the port for Zabbix Server connection.
